Cinema Cultural. Curve în staţia de autobuz. Patrula de poliţie pe lângă ele. Calabria. Curve în faţa restaurantului. Maşina de poliţie oprită la câţiva metri. Piaţa Sudului. Curve. Peste tot. Calea Văcăreşti. Curve aproape de intersecţia cu Tineretului. Patrula de poliţie se plimbă liniştită, fără nici un semn. Restaurant Budapesta. Curve în intersecţie. Maşina de poliţie în parcare. Universitate. Maşina de poliţie oprită în rond, pe banda 1. Şi un poliţist se tot întinde pe geam încercând să arunce o pungă la coşul de gunoi. Nici semnalizare, nici avarii, nimic. Pur şi simplu oprită. Cinema Scala. Curvele obişnuite. La colţ. Şi maşini de poliţie. Suficient de multe. Piaţa Romană. Cel puţin 5 curve în faţă la McDonald’s. Mai puţine ca de obicei. Piaţa Victoriei, Aviatorilor, Barbu Văcărescu, Lacul Tei, Perla, Ştefan cel Mare, parcarea de la Ateneu, Tineretului. Aceeaşi poveste. Şi aproape peste tot şi maşinile de poliţie în zonă.
Magheru. “Vezi tipa aia cu Toyota? E vecina mea. Hai după ea”. 90-100-110-120. Nu apuc să văd când trecem pe lângă Cişmigiu. Blue conduce liniştit. Nepăsător. Cauciucurile scârţâie la fiecare viraj.
Înapoi în Calea Văcăreşti, dinspre Tineretului. Şi pe lângă Dâmboviţa, spre Autovit. “Vrei să o faci?”. Moment în care rânjesc. Îmi dau jos şapca. Mai trag de centură să se întindă. Şi ies pe jumătate afară din maşină. Pe geam. Cu mâinile întinse şi cu ochii larg deschişi. Văd şoseaua cum începe să zboare pe lângă mine din ce în ce mai repede. Aud bubuitul evacuării. Şi aerul relativ răcoros, de noapte de iulie, mă izbeşte în faţă. Din ce în ce mai puternic. Mă împinge înapoi, îmi împrăştie părul în toate direcţiile. Şi viteza creşte. Închid ochii. Nu vreau să am norocul să nimeresc vreo muscă sau altă insectă care să se înfigă în faţa mea. Cu atât mai puţin în ochi. Şi simt că zbor…
Viteza începe să scadă. Mă trag înapoi pe scaun. “Ah, a fost mai încet azi…doar un pic peste 140.”
Înapoi acasă. “Thanks for the ride…Când e următoarea?” “Sâmbată seara e bine?” Nu trebuie să mai răspund. Deja ştie răspunsul meu…
